If you've been playing golf for long, you know it's true that... size doesn't matter! You've seen puny punks blast drives deep down the middle and you've seen short, skinny fellows bomb their drives 300 yards or more. Hopefully you haven't suffered the humiliation of being badly outdriven by some scrawny golfer that looks like he hasn't eaten in a month! It used to happen to me on a regular basis...but not anymore! I got so sick and tired of being called a "short knocker" that I decided to do something about it. And after years of intense and exhaustive research, I finally discovered the simple secret to adding 30 yards (or more) to your drives faster than you ever imagined possible. I've distilled what it took me years to learn into this easy to follow book. And, I'm going to share what I learned so you can quickly and easily add distance to your tee shots and hit your drives L-O-N-G and straight. As it should be! In fact, you'll add distance to every club in your bag. First I need to explain something: If you're not bombing your drives deep down the middle of the fairway, attacking pins with short irons, and shoot the low scores you deserve to be shooting, it's NOT your fault. You've been misled (just like I was) by golf instructors, equipment manufacturers, and the golf media who make this simple game sound as complicated at nuclear physics! Trust me, it's not that difficult. It's not in the golf industry's best interests for you to know the truth. The longer they can keep you confused, frustrated, and on a constant search for solutions, the longer they can separate you from your hard-earned money buying more lessons, more gadgets, and more books and magazines. By now, I'm certain you've noticed that some of the longest bombers have some of the smallest frames. You'll NEVER Guess How Many Short, Skinny Pros Hit their Drives Farther than BOTH Tiger Woods AND Phil Mickelson... Just look at the current PGA driving statistics (as of this writing) and you'll discover a bunch of pint-sized golfers who absolutely pulverize their drives. People like: Ryan Palmer. He's listed at just 5' 11" and 175 pounds, yet he CRUSHES his drives an average of 302 yards. And he's far from the only long bomber who's under 6-feet tall and rail-thin. There's also: 2-time Major champion Rory McIlroy (5' 10" 160 lbs.) Average Drive: 299 yards Listed at 5' 10" and 160 pounds, Rory McIlroy is not a very physically imposing figure...but the two time major champion's 300-yard bombs off the tee can certainly be intimidating to opponents. You too can add 30-yards (or more) to your drives. The secret key to ULTIMATE Golf Distance? The key is your core - a collection of muscles and tendons between your thighs and your chest. Your core acts as an accelerator for your golf swing. A strong and flexible core allows you to: -accelerate through the golf swing -generate more clubhead speed -and add more distance to every club in your bag The key is not the latest golf technology dreamed up by a marketing department, the newest golf training gadgets invented to separate you from your money, or more expensive lessons from someone who couldn't care less if you get any better. Don't get me wrong. Technology, gadgets, and lessons all have their place and used properly they can help you improve your game, but none of them is the real key to adding distance and power. The real key is a strong, flexible core. Do you need PROOF? Who's the best golfer of this generation? It's Tiger Woods without a doubt, right? "For golfers, core strength is just as important as flexibility. Core muscles help control movement and transfer energy from the center of the body out to the limbs, which can obviously impact how well you strike the ball. My core training builds overall strength and flexibility and helps me maintain an ideal state of posture and symmetry." - Tiger Woods You only need 30 minutes a few times a week to see result
by Susie Meyers (Author), Valerie Lazar (Author)
Is golf simple or complex? How you see the game depends on your point of view. Is it hit the ball, find it, and hit it again, or feel anxious and worried about where the ball is and how to hit it when you find it? Point A shows you that simple is highly effective and improving your game is more about where your mind is than where your backswing is. You control your thoughts, and your thoughts control everything. Whether it's a drive from the first tee, a lob over a bunker or your last putt to break a new low score, the key is to play every shot from Point A.
Professional golfers will often credit record-breaking rounds to playing "one shot at a time." The fact that you can play only "one shot at a time" seems so obvious that many golfers take this basic truth for granted. Others believe they are already playing "one shot at a time" when they are not. How to play one shot at a time is the question. With its simple and logical plan for what to think, how to think and when to think on the golf course, playing from Point A is the answer.

Golf for beginners is a book both for those who have never played golf but want to and for those who have played for a while but would like to take the game more seriously. It's a fun book. In the words of an old farmer, "If you put the hay down where the calves can get it, the cows can get it, too."

"Golf from Inside Out" differs from other classical manuals in that way, that it offers a unique ways how to combine physical, psychological and spiritual aspect of a golf player. To this end, the author presents four truths about golf, which are derived from the spiritual teachings in the Buddhist tradition: 1. The Truth about Confusion and Frustration, 2. The Truth about the Origin of Frustration, 3. The Truth of the Cessation of Frustration and 4. The Truth about the Path. Throughout the book author introduces the concept of learning golf in such a way that a player comes into contact with one's own body (rather than his chattering mind) and is thus well on track to reach its own potential. For this purpose, the book offers various exercises to align Self 1 (Mind) and Self 2 (Body), based on the relaxed concentration.
Author Biography
Vikas Dan, PGA (Slovenia, Europe) was introduced to golf as a caddy and in just three years played to a five handicap. As the technical and psychological aspects of the game left him frustrated, Vikas began his journey of self-discovery in the East. There he found the possibility of different "mindful" approaches to playing golf and devoted most of his time to studying and understanding how the human mind works. He likes to joke about professional arena that being Enlightened doesn't mean you will not get your buttocks kicked in the tournaments, and it's better to prepare yourself before entering! He thinks that practicing straight shots and playing for a low score certainly makes sense, but to discover inner game and going beyond the mind's illusions is true happiness. Vikas Dan is a certified Spirit of Golf instructor and a member of PGA Golf Academy, Ljubljana, Slovenia.

The game of golf is as much a test of your emotions as it is a test of your golf skills. A golfer is only hitting shots for a few minutes a round - the rest is another game between shots requiring a completely different set of skills (EQ) that can be learned. This very cutting-edge book is based on neuroscience with interactive exercises to build your own mental plan to allow you to perform at your best when it matters most.
Dr. Justice gives us a language and framework to process emotions in golf and make better decisions so we can enjoy this beautiful game a little bit more.

Can I really add 30 yards to my golf game? Yes... but let me warn you, if you are lazy and are simply looking for a "magic bullet" solution, this is not the program for you. The simple fact of the matter is this: the 30 Yards or More in 30 Days or Less program is NOT a "quick fix". It's a SMART fix to a very complex problem that consequently yields incredibly fast results. Oh, and did I mention that you'll probably even burn loads of fat off while you add distance to ALL your clubs at the same time? That's unheard of. But the reality is I've had clients do it over and over again, and you will too. At the same time, I want to make sure I'm being very clear: make no mistake, this program takes work, and if you're one of these people who can't dedicate 30 days to radically changing your golf game and body - a change that you will be able to enjoy for the rest of your life - then please, do not invest in this system. But for those of you who are serious, those who are ready to put forth the effort, the 30 Yards or More in 30 Days or Less system will absolutely give you every tool you need to immediately DOUBLE your rate of distance gains and experience the yardage gains you deserve - GUARANTEED. Others did it too...and so can you. If you have read everything up to this point, you definitely are not lazy. I think you genuinely want to get better at your golf game.. and you aren't afraid of practice, working out, or analyzing your stats. You enjoy the process of "digging it out of the dirt". I've taught thousands of other golfers just like you how to dig it out of the dirt and transform their bodies and golf games. Just about every day I get emails, Facebook posts, and tweets of people just like you who transformed their golf games and bodies using my workouts. Here are just a few clients of the 30 Yards or More in 30 Days or Less system and what they had to say: "I bought the 30 Yards or More in 30 Days or Less program already 2 months into my golf season. I was a little scared about working out and playing golf, not knowing if my body could hold up. I saw results right away in my swing and health of my body. What Chris puts together with not only the lifting but also the joint mobility and flexibility training helped dramatically to my swing and joints. This added health allowed me to work out harder and these workouts are right to the point, which helps because I am always on the move. Overall I was able to gain about 20 yards to my about 240-yard original full driver swing. I can't wait to continue this program and use this as a part of my life from now on." - Mitchell S., Norway "I tried your 30 yards in 30 days program back in May. It definitely works... when I swing in control. Won three longest drives this year in tournaments!" - Dave, 34, Ontario, Canada "Your workout is going well. I was in pretty good shape before starting the workout but I like that everything is tailored around golf motions. Another one of my weaknesses was getting myself to stretch. This workout requires you to stretch and I am a big fan of that as well." - John W. "Just wanted to thank you for creating and allowing me to try the 30 Yards or More in 30 Days or Less workout system. 2 weeks after starting we had a nice weekend and I hit the longest drive of my life so I can't wait to see what happens now that it has been over 30 days." - Chris S. "After just two weeks of doing the workouts, twice each beginners workout. I can see a marketable difference in my swing. I can't tell distance yet, as I haven't been out on the course. But I can tell the difference in my leg strength and flexibility already. It will be easily 30 yards!" Thank you, - Chris Connell

An essential resource for golfers who want to play a smarter, more fulfilling game on the green
For as long as golf has existed, the game's greatest players and instructors have lauded the importance of mental resilience. However, while golfing equipment and course strategy have evolved over time, the field of golf psychology has not kept pace. Many outdated, unscientific notions remain widespread, despite the fact that they actually lead to repetitive, harmful patterns that impair golfer gameplay and create mental barriers to success. In Golf Beneath the Surface, performance consultant Dr. Raymond Prior expertly debunks these "surface-level" psychology myths and explains psychological predictors that encourage long-term growth and skillful performance under pressure. Backed by rigorously researched neuroscience and psychology, and drawing on years of experience working with some of the world's best players, Dr. Prior shares fresh, practical insights into how golfers think, train, and play, both on and off the course. With a customizable experience that places the reader's own psychology front and center, this book breaks down:Author Biography

This book simulates the complete trajectories (flight and subsequent ground run) of golf shots using the aerodynamic and material properties of golf balls, and establish the significance of wind's impact on gameplay. It also presents insight into how physical parameters like launch conditions (speed, angle and spin-rate) and wind conditions affect the trajectory of a golf ball. It discusses the specific effects of wind on the flight trajectory and explore the consequences of effect of wind direction; impact of golf club selection on the wind-induced deviation; strategies and their effectiveness to counter the diversion due to wind; and the sensitivity of the trajectory to aerodynamic characteristics of golf balls. Furthermore, the impact of wind on a player's strategy is elucidated with cases studies on the renowned holes of three golf courses: (i) Hole 17, TPC Sawgrass, (ii) Hole 8, Muirfield Golf Club, and (iii) Hole 18, Pebble beach Golf links. It presents an integrated mathematical model and quantitative data on ball trajectory accompanied by insights and illustrations for players, golf-course designers, ball manufacturers, scientific community, and golf enthusiasts. This book will be useful for researchers and professionals in the fields of aerodynamics engineering, sports science and physics. Additionally, this book will be a good read for golf players and coaches, golf-course designers, as well as golf-ball manufacturers.

Most anyone can putt a golf ball. Very few are able to hit the hole consistently. It is amazing to watch the pros do it! But we can all do better with more practice and training. However there is a science behind accurate putting and the purpose of this book is to present results of an analysis for use by the average golfer and the pro as well, and particularly for the golfers who want to improve their techniques and add some birdies to their scores. Hopefully all readers will gain appreciation of the science behind good putting. This book presents the results of an analysis of the path of putting a golf ball on sloping greens. The analysis was begun in 2011 and a computer algorithm has also been developed. For given conditions of slope, rolling resistance, and distance to the hole, the initial velocity and initial angle of the putting stroke can be predicted for the curved path needed to put the ball in the hole. In addition there is a section added that is devoted to chipping as well. The details of the analysis was copyrighted in a paper in 2012, "GOLFPATH (c) - Predicting the Path of Putting a Golf Ball on Sloping Greens". This paper is included in the Appendix 1 of this book for those who have more background in mathematics and concepts of physics and engineering. The author has attempted to present results of the analysis in a graphic way and in tables to be more easily understood. It has been difficult to explain everything without some algebra and trigonometry. This may cause some readers to refresh their knowledge in these subjects. If so, a little difficulty will not be in vain.

When Heaven screws up... All hell breaks loose.
God; omniscient creator, terrible golfer, and disgruntled CEO of Heaven, asks for little in life. He wants nothing more than for his private elevator to be repaired, ten minutes of peace and quiet to eat Girl Scout cookies, and an eighteen-hole round with the recently deceased British Prime Minister. So when a broken database causes his records department to send The Grim Reaper a list of souls not ready for reaping, his once peaceful life quickly begins to unravel. Furious with Heaven's ineptitude and the problems the disruption is causing his daily routine, The Grim Reaper retaliates with an unprecedented response. He skips the next reaping on his list and as a result, causes an army of bloodthirsty zombie-demons to be unleashed on the peaceful town of Oceanview, Arizona. After a few days of the apocalypse running unchecked and a rapidly increasing body count, Heaven learns the location of the events occurring below and determines divine intervention is required. When the Oceanview survivors mistakenly kill the angels sent down to help, Heaven has no to choice but to call in the big guns, and God himself is forced to visit Earth for the first time, making an already dire situation much, much worse.by Carl Lohren (Author), Al Barkow (Contribution by), Rusty Jones (Illustrator)
