by Dennis Doughty (Author)
If you have a passion for golf, this little book will compliment your love of the game. Dennis Doughty is a single handicap player whose playing experience, and writing skills, have combined to create a great insight into "the greatest game ever created by men tending sheep." His poems will entertain you, and his essays will inspire you. Laugh and learn, be motivated and educated, by this unique insight into the game of golf. Read and see if you can relate to "The Round," or feel the tension of "The Putt." Enjoy the tribute to "Arnie," or see if you can recognize "The Man in the Midst." Be inspired to practice more by "The Range" or by Lombardi's quote. Be uplifted by "The Lord is my Caddy" and empathize with "What Lies Between."
Bob Wolcott, former PGA tour pro, said, "Dennis' unique style with his poems and books has me wanting to read or hear more stories about my favorite game of a lifetime, golf. I know you will enjoy this book. So sit back and take a free round with my friend." If you are looking for a gift for a golfer, or just want to feed your love of the game, then you will want to have "Golf and the Blues."
