Author Biography
WILLEM LANGE has worked as an Adirondack guide, a preacher, a bartender, a construction laborer, a cab driver, a bob-sled run announcer, a bookkeeper, a ranch hand, a high-school English teacher, a carpenter, a contractor, and from 1968 to 1972 as director of Dartmouth College's Outward Bound Center. For more than thirty years he has been writing a weekly column, A Yankee Notebook, which appears in newspapers all over New England. He is a regular commentator on Vermont Public Television and Vermont Public Radio, and is the host of New Hampshire Public Television's award-winning series Windows to the Wild.

Returns & Refunds
Standard U.S. returns are accepted for eligible new, unopened items within 30 days of carrier delivery. Returns are by mail. Customers are responsible for standard return shipping, there is no restocking fee, and standard exchanges are not offered. Once an approved return is received and inspected, the refund is issued to the original payment method within 5 business days. Damaged, defective, or incorrect items are handled at no return-shipping cost to the customer.
