This is the story of how Willow discovered her worries...and overcame them!
Willow loves to play soccer-until a dog scares her at the beach. Now, when she heads to the soccer field, Willow's worries take over. What if there's a dog at the park? What if it jumps on her? Willow is determined not to let fear get in her way-but can she stand up to her worries, and not let them ruin the game she loves so much?
Willow's Worries is a light-hearted story about a difficult situation. For kids, it helps them see that they're not alone-that other children go through the same thing. For parents and caregivers, it opens the door to talk about fear and anxiety. The book helps children learn to recognize what anxiety feels like while providing simple and practical strategies for dealing with worries. Kids will learn to build personal confidence and independent mental strength right alongside Willow herself.
