Callan pushed open the door. A dark abyss glared back.
He switched on his torch and flashed it around...
His broad shoulders slumped, and he let out a breath between clenched teeth. Death had dipped its claws into Dachaigh again.
Embark on a riveting journey through the mist-shrouded Scottish Highlands in "When Murder Comes Home," the gripping inaugural instalment in the Aileen and Callan Murder Mystery series.
Aileen Mackinnon, a savvy forensic accountant, abandons the urban hustle to run her grandmother's inn in the picturesque Loch Fuar. But things take a dark turn when a clash among the inn's eclectic guests erupts into a series of chilling murders. But can they unearth the secrets lurking in the inn or will death win another round?

With every page, the bonds between Aileen and Callan deepen as they navigate the shadows of betrayal and deception. For lovers of Scottish crime fiction, this spellbinding journey guarantees an immersive experience, where the haunting beauty of the Highlands conceals secrets that could shatter lives.
