by Ron Briggs (Author)
In a journey that intertwines fate and survival, two warrior souls bound by destiny face an uncertain future.
After avenging the brutal murder of her parents by destroying the ruthless war chief Thunder Throat, Cass, a fierce and determined young woman, believes her fight is finally over. But a chance encounter with Yellow Hair, a Norseman washed ashore and raised in lands controlled by the Lenni Lenape People, sets her on a new path-one that will take her far beyond the safety of her village.
Joined by the enigmatic trader, Traveler, the trio embarks on a dangerous expedition to Cahokia, a burgeoning city rich with power and politics. Tasked with delivering Yellow Hair to the Great Sun, Traveler's mission is fraught with peril, and the journey ahead is one of both discovery and survival.
For Cass and Yellow Hair, their dreams of a peaceful life together are threatened by forces beyond their control. From violent storms to enemies new and old, the odds seem insurmountable. Yet, together, they must navigate treacherous terrain and the political intrigues of Cahokia if they are to forge a future against all odds.
Embark on a timeless odyssey as two fierce warriors battle against the forces of nature, enemies, and fate itself.
