Sketch books are a wonderful way to encourage intentional following of directions in a fun and rewarding way. Sketching is a quiet and relaxing activity that is also very good for fine motor skills and creative thinking. Many children have a fascination with all modes of transportation, and vintage ships have so much intricate detail and a wealth of unique history. Encouraging children to draw things that interest them is a fabulous gateway for encouraging them to desire to learn more.
