by Dyan DuBois (Author)
Every powerful leader from the ancient world to the present day has craved the Cup of the Shining Sun's immense power-it exalts as readily as it destroys.
Askara Timlen never asked for her role as Protector of the Cup. Unable to escape the fate ordained for her lifetimes earlier, she fulfills her duty from India to Madagascar to Kashmir. Guided by an ancient voice in battle, she steps into her power with the fury of a destroyer, finally understanding what being the Protector requires and the price she will pay.
