Without having any baseball coaching experience that first year, I decided to call on my Uncle Jim for some advice (knowing that he had been coaching Little League for a long time). This book is intended to be a road map for any parent who is involved with coaching baseball and for anyone who enjoys the game, kids and parents alike. Uncle Jim tells of his own childhood memories that inspired him to begin coaching youth baseball. Throughout the pages of this book, Uncle Jim reminisces over various situations he encountered during his forty year coaching career. He provides valuable tips for coaches and parents currently involved in Little League, and shares insight from his own experience as a team coach and manager.
