Tyson the Bison is a beautiful children's book about Tyson's exciting experiences, sticky situations, and life lessons learned throughout his days of playing with friends or just trotting along by himself.
He plays with such critters as a fox, a pig, a duck, a snake, a toad, a frog, and his tiniest buddy, a bug. He spends time playing in the dirt, skating on an icy pond, skipping down a dirt path, climbing in some rocks, dancing to some crazy tunes on the radio, swimming in some muck, getting hurt from falling, and having a warm bath at the end of a long day.
Your child will learn how to be safer during a fun day with their friends, just as Tyson does. There are questions for counting, identifying colors, and safety tips for each choice of Tyson's adventurous play. The tips remind your child that, although playing with friends is fun, it is equally important to make wise choices to prevent getting hurt while having fun.
