by Jacob Gunter (Author), Iamfritz Com (Illustrator)
The deadly mystery of the machines has been solved and those who remain are joining together in peace. These brave survivors, lifted up in a new sense of community and hope, have begun rebuilding the Citadel along with the hope to dream again.
But not all. Rose, once clinging to her brother and the hope of finding her parents again, now finds herself broken and empty. In the blink of an eye not only was her world destroyed, but her heart broken. And the dead, whom everyone else has buried, will not let her move on.
No sooner do her new daytime nightmares settle in when a new threat encircles the new Citadel. These new neighbors establish themselves as powerhouses in the new world, but are they friend or foe?
More importantly, have our own heroes' scars healed enough for them to look to peace, or will the pain, still fresh in their wounds, drive them to new extremes?
Come join Rose as she and her new companions embark on a new adventure that will determine a future that is nowhere as certain as they think.
