by Al Purdy (Author)
Here is Al Purdy's final volume of original poems, containing some of the best work of his half-century of writing. This is the work of a major poet in the maturity of a long, eventful life, a voice steeped in the wisdom of age, yet responsive to the subtlest shadings of experience. To Paris Never Again includes fifty-one poems plus "Home Country," an essay of nostalgic anecdotes that provides a fascinating background to much of the poetry.
