by Hugh Hunter Hardwicke (Author)
Things My Grandmother Told Me of Yesterday is filled with heartwarming stories from the early 1900s when my grandmother, Eppes Hatcher Hardwicke, was a young girl living on Hatcher's Island on the James River in Virginia. These memories she shared with us sitting on the front porch of her house in Westmoreland County, Virginia, in the early days of our lives mattered so much and are so relevant to how they helped us grow up.
Things My Grandmother Told Me of Yesterday teaches us about the past while reminding us that life today isn't always so different from years ago. Perfect for readers of all ages, Things My Grandmother Told Me of Yesterday encourages its audience to look at their own family history and remember the lessons we can learn from those who came before us.
