by Brian Penn (Author)
A high-stakes dystopian saga for readers of The Hunger Games and Red Rising - with the spiritual intensity of Frank Peretti and Ted Dekker.
"PENN'S ABILITY TO WEAVE SUCH A COMPELLING DYSTOPIAN NARRATIVE INFUSED WITH PROFOUND THEMES OF FAITH AND MORAL RESILIENCE SHOWCASES HIS INTELLECTUAL DEPTH AND STORYTELLING ACUMEN." - Louise Jane, CEO The Christlit Book Awards
"THIS WOULD MAKE AN EXCELLENT MOVIE OR MINI-SERIES. SOMEONE NEEDS TO PICK IT UP." - Amazon Review
"The difference between us is that we are willing to die for what we believe in, where you would only kill for yours."
By 2099, the United States has fractured into two warring nations, separated by a massive, impenetrable Wall. On one side: comfort, order, and the promise of eternal life. On the other side: poverty, resistance, and a hidden truth the Lazurites will kill to protect.
Asher smuggles contraband-items that could spark rebellion and threaten the regime's control. When the woman he loves disappears behind the Wall, he risks everything to bring her back. But what he uncovers is far more dangerous: a conspiracy that could shake the nation to its core-and a revelation that could set millions free.
With rebellion rising and the regime tightening its grip, Asher must choose between survival and a truth powerful enough to cost him everything.
The Wall is a gripping Christian dystopian thriller of faith, courage, and rebellion-perfect for fans of The Hunger Games, Red Rising, and Left Behind.
