by Faye Rapoport Despres (Author)
A mysterious rescue from a burning house. A photographer attempting to capture the moon on a night when not everything is what it seems. A humorous battle between an elderly man and one hungry little beast. From the award-winning cozy mystery story "Who Let the Cats Out?" to the popular tale "The Varmint," this delightful, sometimes mind-bending chapbook invites you to be delighted by three short fictions by Faye Rapoport DesPres. If you enjoyed DesPres' personal essay collection, Message from a Blue Jay, her Stray Cat Stories children's books, or her popular gift book of 100-word stories, Soul to Soul: Tiny Stories of Hope and Resilience, you will love delving into these three fictions.
