When the storm breaks, only the truth can bring balance back to the desert.
Chay Whitehorse and Josi Nielsen arrive at the Navajo Rodeo and Fair with big dreams and even bigger plans-Chay, eager to prove his skills as a horseman, and Josi, searching for the rare herbs she needs to create ancestral plant magic. But when disaster strikes the rodeo, life changes, and they find themselves on an unexpected journey that will challenge everything they know.
As storm clouds gather over the desert, they stumble upon Josi's best friend, Eva, tangled up with a man who seems nothing but trouble. Seeking answers, Chay and Josi begin to unravel a mystery that stretches back fifty years. With buried secrets, lost dreams, and family bonds at stake, they must confront old grudges, a kidnapping, and misunderstandings that have haunted their community for decades.
To save Eva and restore hózhó-balance to the world around them-Josi and Chay delve into Navajo healing chants, ancestral visions, and the rugged landscapes of the Southwest. As monsoon rains threaten destruction, they'll risk it all under an untamed sky to bring peace and understanding to their families and themselves.
Join Chay and Josi in The Untamed Sky and embark on a journey through magic, mystery, and the deep roots of the Whitehorse Rides series. Perfect for fans of YA westerns and the captivating spirit of the American Southwest.
