by Behrman House (Author)
The Time of Our Lives explores how Jewish life cycle events help us mark and celebrate the milestones we each encounter on life's journey.
Discover how these celebrations began in the first place, and how they have evolved through the generations, consider how we each contribute to them, and gain a deeper understanding of these key rituals and practices.
Special elements include clearly sequenced summaries of each life cycle event; text selections to connect modern celebrations to ancient sacred works; opportunities for families to share memories of past events; to-do lists to encourage becoming a gracious guest at others' events; visioning exercises to consider what one's own future life cycle events might be like.
