In The Tall Tree, an evergreen towers over the forest where it wishes it could be like the smaller trees. Because of its massive size, the evergreen crashes to the ground during a mighty storm and embarks on a journey to a town where it becomes the celebrated holiday tree. The subtle message that being different has a way of turning around into something wondrous won't be lost on the young reader, and will provide a conversation starter for the parent. With large, colorful illustrations on every page, this simple story is sure to become a holiday favorite.
