"A most impressive book . . . The illustrations are beautifully done, and the text is fun to read. This book will really open the eyes of people of all ages to the fact that there is more to spectacular prehistoric life than just dinosaurs." --Donald Henderson, Curator of Dinosaurs, Royal Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology
Have you ever looked to the sky and wondered what it would be like to soar through its endless expanse? There are many animals who can fly, from the largest birds to the tiniest insects. But once, hundreds of millions of years ago, pterosaurs ruled the skies. They were the greatest fliers this world has known, and they soared above the dinosaurs who ruled the land below. Read about these impressive creatures, learn how they lived, hunted, and survived, and see through breathtaking and detailed illustrations what they looked like all those millennia ago. The Secrets of Pterosaurs will show you a world in the skies you'll wish you could have witnessed firsthand.
