by Jeffrey Pierce (Author)
"Eloquent and hard muscled. Deeply researched and deftly imagined. The Reckoning is an entrancing, fantastical journey to an end you will never see coming. The good news is it is just the beginning." -Michael Connelly (The Lincoln Lawyer, Bosch.)
Good Friday 1917. Hell unleashed.
A biblical scale apocalypse engulfs the world. As the raging St. Quentin flood recedes, with hours to go until the sanctuary of sunrise, Durant's company is splintered by the monsters of their pasts. Risking all, Isaiah and Juddha Jai attempt to rescue their captured companions from the fortified Roman dead in the St. Quentin Munitions Dump, while in the British tank, Caitlin does what she can to keep the rest of their company alive until dawn. All the while, the past and present continue to rise and haunt them, intent on hunting them down. Any hope of survival continues to fade, and the threat of a brutal end is the only thing they can be sure of as the bill for their sins comes due in the fourth brutal installment of Jeffrey Pierce's The Reckoning series.
