by B. Butts Williams (Author)
Ma Hattie Harrison, a slave woman who held special spiritual power tries to intercept a curse placed on powerful plantation owners by a slave woman name Genevieve; these plantation owners and their families later would control powerful business enterprises worldwide. Kiz Caldwell, a descendant of Ma Hattie grows up in the mid-1940's, Kiz is discovered to possess a unique genetic make-up that enters her into a world of mystery, strange occurrences, business, and geo-political power struggles. Kiz is not alone- there are others with complimentary DNA. A story of destiny, redemption and a quest for world dominance brings together a powerful coalition whose known genetic make-up unlocks the secret to global dominance within the world's ecosystem and spotlights the significance of destiny. B. Butts Williams is an accomplished business, academic, and community leader. She lives in Minnesota, raised in Pennsylvania, the fifth of seven children born into a strong Christian and working-class family. Both of her parents were born in Georgia to parents who often told stories about their grandparents' experience with slavery and the families' strong work ethic, religious grounding, and value of education. B. Butts Williams' love of reading and writing started at an early age. While in junior high school she wrote fantasy stories about another world and magic. In 2018, she began writing fiction again after 60 years -fulfilling the desires of her inner child.
