by Sharif George (Editor), James Black DD (Author)
Dr Black brings a sense of Godly conviction on the subject of honouring the preached word and he brings a ever fresh challenge the expectations of what the word will produce. I would urge any Christian who wants to take preaching seriously to read and absorb Dr Black's words. This Evangelical Heritage reprint is of Dr Black's original 1924 edition. The text has been edited with scripture references added, and over 75 footnotes to help the reader make the most of the text.
