The Mighty Monarch Butterfly
There's something in us all that pushes us onward, yet there's something mighty within the North American monarch butterfly. No one knows why, but every year, millions of monarch butterflies travel thousands of miles over North America to the mountains of Central Mexico.
Guided by its antennae, the monarch butterfly migrates across much of North America as the temperature begins to dip and summer comes to an end. But what happens when one gets separated from the kaleidoscope of butterflies?
In a blend of hope and belief, Michael Woodward, Jr.'s The Mighty Monarch Butterfly whisks readers on a journey up into the clouds of California and down its coast as she follows closely behind in search of her family.
