by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry (Author), Stacy Schiff (Introduction by)
An elegant new gift edition of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's timeless classic, with foil-stamped effects and a paper-over-board case, featuring the author's beautiful illustrations restored to match their original detail and color, and a new foreword by Saint-Exupery's Pulitzer Prize-winning biographer, Stacy Schiff
All grown-ups were once children--although few of them remember it.
"In eighty-four crystalline pages, the Little Prince will learn the meaning of the word 'ephemeral' while--thanks to a wise fox--we will edge just a little closer to glimpsing the eternal." -Stacy Schiff, from the introduction
A pilot crashes his plane in the Sahara Desert. There, far away from civilization, he meets The Little Prince, a strange young boy who left his solitary life on a distant asteroid and traveled to the disenchanted adult world. What unfolds is an unforgettable adventure through the night sky, and a timeless meditation on the power of seeing the world with wonder and clarity.
