What happens when two worlds in peril collide? As Aquis and Earth struggle to fight a war on both sides, a young apprentice with a unique gift may be their only hope.
After the death of a human, for some, the life of a miathian lies ahead. A winged race imbued with magic, residing in a fantasy world not too far from our own.
Fiaran has only been a miathian for a few years, killed as a human fighting in a war that consumes the planet. After he is sent to an old ruined city, he discovers a dark side of miathian history that many thought long buried, and discovers secrets about himself that could unravel the world as he knows it.
When a member of the Royal Guard goes rogue with dangerous information, Fiaran and his mentor are tasked with bringing him to justice. On Earth, humans fight a futile war against miathian exiles and rebels. Can they succeed in their fight with the help of two unlikely allies?
