by Terry McComb (Author), Vera McMurdo (Illustrator)
Winter, with its brisk cold, calls hardy nature lovers to sample its frozen wonders. One of these frozen wonders is the simple snowflake. The Gospel According to a Snowflake shows that the snowflake is not simple. In God's wonder-world of nature snow has many hidden treasures. This resource includes outdoor activity projects to help children discover the spiritual lessons found in snow.
God's Book of Nature will:
- show children how to serve God
- draw the mind away from the world
- bring into activity every faculty of the mind
- fill the heart with gratitude
- nurture them with courage to resist evil
- teach children knowledge as Jesus learnt
