by Eoin Colfer (Author)
The third book in international bestseller Eoin Colfer's hilarious spinoff series starring Artemis Fowl's younger brothers alongside a nefarious nobleman, a shadowy nun, a fairy intern, and a maverick troll.
* "Like its bestselling progenitors, a nonstop spinoff froth with high-tech, spectacular magic, and silly business."―Kirkus (starred review) Myles Fowl, one of Artemis Fowl's younger brothers, is delivering a lecture to the Coroners and Pathologistis Association of Southern England, or CORPSE, in London when he's rudely interrupted by the appearance of a weaponized jet piloted by none other than Lord Teddy Bleedham-Drye, the man who has been plotting revenge against the twins for two years. Teddy plans to give the boys exactly what they deserve: permanent death. Beckett and Specialist Lazul Heitz succeed in disarming the aircraft, causing an accident that seems to kill the duke. But does it? Myles knows not to trust Lord Teddy, but he doesn't know not to trust his own body, which has a power lurking inside it like a ticking time bomb. He shouldn't fully trust Beckett either because his twin has snuck the toy troll Whistle Blower to London in a potato-chip bag. Ghosts, clones, missing moms, and fairy magic all come into play in this explosive and utterly ridiculous showdown between the Regrettables and their worst enemy.
