Welcome to the magical world of Petal & Nettle! The NEW book in the award-winning series!
When Nettle sets out to write the BEST story EVER, there's just one problem - he doesn't know what to write. His mind has gone completely blank!
Thankfully, Petal and the other fairies are there to help him find inspiration. The trouble is, they all have brilliant ideas and like different things. How can he possibly write ONE story that everyone will enjoy?
A funny, uplifting tale about the magic of self-belief, trying your best, and not worrying about what other people think.
The story is magically brought to life through the beautiful illustrations by the super-talented Tilia Rand-Bell.
Perfect for ages 2-6 and those who love fantastical tales such as Julia Donaldson's The Singing Mermaid or The Witch's Cat, also by Kirstie Watson.
Includes a download link to a FREE printable activity pack for use at home or school.
This gentle, engaging picture book offers a thoughtful look at creativity, imagination and the pressure to "get things right." Young readers will enjoy watching Nettle explore different ideas, experiment, and eventually discover his own voice. With clear opportunities for discussion around confidence, friendship, and storytelling, it's an excellent choice for reading aloud, cosy bedtime moments, classroom use or inspiring early creative writing. A warm and encouraging tale for little storytellers everywhere.
