by Smilingsatyr (Author)
As if saving his town wasn't enough, a young wizard must now bridge the gap between humans and fae and become the peacemaker for two worlds.
When a magical mega-storm was leveled against wizard Wil McKenzie's beloved hometown of Harper Valley, the master miracle worker saved the day and became a hero. Unfortunately, in the wake of the bewitching squall, a whole new world of trouble has opened up.
With the relations between humans and their new fae neighbors as fraught as ever, Wil and his girlfriend, Darlene, have stepped into the realm of the faerie. They're forging a path to its capital, Oakheart Spiral, to talk peace and diplomacy with only the best of intentions. They also have the best of guides: Syl, a cloven-hooved, goat-headed healer, protector, and mediator, who knows the people and the land. And more importantly, he knows the dangers and the centuries of bad blood that lie between them and their destination.
Because forces--both human and far from it--that prefer war to peace are aligning against Wil, including rival wizards, murderous wampus cats, mischievous wee folk, avenging royalty, and other beasties on the prowl. But nobody and no thing is going to keep him from finally setting things right . . .
The second volume of the hit fantasy adventure series--with more than 600,000 views on Royal Road--now available in paperback, ebook, and audiobook!
