by Steve Packwood (Author)
Naked, paralysed and fully conscious.
The Dissection Begins. Middle-aged women are being dissected whilst alive and conscious, their bodies subjected to humiliating abuse.Detective Sergeant Grant Maddox sets out to find who and why anyone would visit so vicious a crime upon such seemingly harmless and inoffensive victims. His investigation, helped by a young colleague, DC Amber Bennett, new to the CID, takes the officers to the dark recesses of the human mind and imagination. The ghosts from Maddox's past come back to haunt him as the full horror of a distant crime stretches across the years to burst violently into the present.
How can a plummeting jet crashing into a French field, an exclusive school for the sons of the rich and famous, and the hollowed-out cavities of dissected victims all be linked? The journey to find the answers is fast-paced, littered with twists and turns, horror and humour, and a shocking, unpredictable climax.
The Dissection Murders...you thought you were beyond being shocked...you thought wrong.
