by Diane M. McPhee (Author)
A body is found on a subway platform under the frigid streets of Boston, thrusting Detective Alan Sharp into the gritty urban underbelly to uncover the truth behind the violent death. A tangled web of corruption, betrayal, and societal neglect is revealed, forcing Alan to confront his own demons and biases as he searches for justice and truth.
From the city's most vulnerable communities to the upper echelons of law enforcement, each interview and clue uncovers hidden connections as Alan navigates through layers of police politics and public scrutiny. Haunted by past failures and driven by a desire for redemption, can Alan confront the chilling reality of his findings, or will his pursuit of justice be derailed?
