by Kate Davies (Author)
The crime-loving Crims are back in the second installment of this hilarious kids mystery series, perfect for fans of Lemony Snicket and Pseudonymous Bosch!
Imogen Crim has moved back home with her family and resumed her commitment to crime. But coming back to Blandington isn't quite so easy.
Between Big Nana's crime theory assignments, a challenging new school, and keeping up with her archenemy Ava Gud, Imogen can't find a spare moment to participate in the family's new Crime Directive. And in a true test for this funny family of criminals, the Crims have even been bumped from the top spot on Blandington's Most Wanted list! Oh, the injustice!
Then various Crims start disappearing without a trace in a puzzling kidnapping mystery, and Big Nana is convinced that their rivals, the Kruk family, are behind it all. Imogen will need to use all her shadiest and shiftiest skills if she's ever to see her family again...
- A Hilarious Archenemy: Imogen expects to rule her new school, but she doesn't count on the arrival of the charming, stylish, and suspiciously perfect Ava Gud.
- A Family of Lovable Misfits: From Big Nana's bizarre crime assignments to the Horrible Children's chaotic schemes, the Crims have been bumped from the Most Wanted list--and they're not happy about it.
- A Dastardly Disappearance: When Crim family members start vanishing one by one, Imogen must put her best detective skills to the test to track them down.
- Side-Splitting Humor: This witty and adventurous middle grade book is packed with the kind of quirky fun that will have kids and parents laughing out loud.
