It is also an important story for boys who are under pressure to be "masculine" and to judge or mistreat girls, or who are also dealing with messaging about dieting and appearance. Even adults can benefit from this powerful little tale.
With vivid paintings by feminist artist Farida Iqbal, and alluring imagery from literary author Tamara Pearson, this book encourages children to believe in an alternative idea of beauty, where everyone is amazing and unique.
In Flowertown, every flower is wonderfully different. But when the mayor creates a list of beauty rules for all the flowers, they bleach their petals and remove their leaves in order to be the most beautiful. Will they eventually realise the true meaning of beauty?

Returns & Refunds
Standard U.S. returns are accepted for eligible new, unopened items within 30 days of carrier delivery. Returns are by mail. Customers are responsible for standard return shipping, there is no restocking fee, and standard exchanges are not offered. Once an approved return is received and inspected, the refund is issued to the original payment method within 5 business days. Damaged, defective, or incorrect items are handled at no return-shipping cost to the customer.
