by Ajay Fatehpura Bhomiyan (Author)
These are tough times, and tough times won't pass easily. Survival was the only thing that the pariah people of Puratthakkal valley cared about; it was the most brutal drought of that time, and the worst was not over yet. When a ravenous tiger killed one of his bullocks, Chinappa and his family's survival were at stake. He cowardly left his family amidst the war and drought, a mistake that cost his family and freedom. Slave Hunters sold him to work in the notorious mines of Kalapani. The island was hell for slaves; over the top, the cruel owner of the Nicobar Mining Company, Jamrood Ellahi Baroodwala, was a sadistic evil.
