Stella, the Throwaway Dog is a true story about a yellow lab who was surrendered to an animal shelter in Kentucky. By the age of one, this sweet girl had already lived in three homes and had broken a leg. This book tells the story of a throwaway dog, her silly experiences, and how she found a forever home.
Stelllaaa!
Stella was great at making messes. She didn't know how to play with other animals. And sometimes, she chewed on things that weren't hers.
By the time Stella was a year old, she had lived in three homes. It seemed like no one wanted her.
Stella was a throwaway dog. But she was also FULL of love to share.
When Mama brings Stella home from the shelter, she becomes part of a family.
Stella still makes messes and mistakes, and sometimes her family cries, Stellllaa! But they love her, and she will never again be a throwaway dog.
