by Kimberly Amato (Author)
A take-no-prisoners police officer. A gleefully violent killer. Can she put the cuffs on her tormentor before he turns her friends into corpses?
Jasmine "Jazz" Steele is haunted every second. Barely coping with the tragic loss of her brother, a grief-fueled breakup with her longtime girlfriend, and the fresh responsibility of mothering her orphaned nephew, the hardened NYPD detective now finds herself on the trail of a gruesome predator. And she's no closer to tracking him down when he calls to threaten her family.
Frustrated by an investigation full of red tape and dead ends, Jazz leans on her fiercely loyal coworkers as she delves into the mind of the psychotic murderer. But the beleaguered cop is not prepared for the revelation that all the victims bear a striking resemblance to someone she loves.
Can Jazz bring a madman to justice before the noose closes on her own neck?
Steele Intent is the suspenseful first book in the Jasmine Steele Mystery Series. If you like strong LGBTQ+ characters, nail-biting tension, and emotional rollercoasters, then you'll adore Kimberly Amato's hard-boiled whodunit.
