Squirrels Don't Need Umbrellas! is a fresh, fun, and uniquely educational book for children written from a child's perspective. Children will learn the days of the week as the delightful little boy in this story thinks he would rather be a polar bear, a squirrel, an elephant, an owl, a box turtle, and even a cheetah - until he realizes he's content to be his awesome self. The repetition and sense of familiarity incorporated into this book will keep children entertained, but the fun facts they will learn about familiar animals will also be sure to amaze them. Additionally, young listeners and readers will gain an understanding of the importance of a loving and respectful relationship between a little boy and his mother. Finally, the colorful and whimsical illustrations will keep adults and children alike turning the pages.
