Spade Work: Jack Dillon Dublin Tale 6: Second Edition
A random Dublin shooting? Two American's murdered in the back of a taxi. It appears random...until US Marshal Jack Dillon recognizes one of
the victims. An Ace of Spades in the victim's mouth? Someone's seen too many movies. At least that's the thinking until the card appears in another victim, and another, and another one after that, and...Fortunately, they have a suspect...But then there's another murder he couldn't have possibly done. Something's awfully wrong, and it's up to US Marshal Jack Dillon to find out what's happening fast!
Faricy is America's hottest new mystery writer . . .
The Dirty Lowdown
Another entertaining crime novel by the likes of Faricy . . .
Robert Carraher
A cross between Carl Hiaasen and Elmore Leonard with a sprinkling
of Robert B. Parker . . .
The Irish Gazette
Faricy's entertaining tales are populated with the sort of quirky, oddball characters we'd all like to know more about but wisely prefer to keep at a distance. They serve not so much as examples but more often as warnings to the rest of us. The difficulties they find themselves in are usually due to their own bad decisions, but bad decisions make for interesting tales.
