Author Biography
Vince Golia was born and raised on the perilous streets of the Bronx, New York. After having been stabbed and narrowly missing being taken out by a bullet, he had a spiritual awakening and decided to study theology. In 1983, he graduated from Iona College in New Rochelle, NY. Vince moved to Florida in 1990 and taught theology for three years at Cardinal Gibbons High School in Ft. Lauderdale. He also spent two years working with a number of talent agencies acting in television commercials. Vince received his MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) certification in 2001. His interests include weightlifting, racquetball, martial arts, and working as an amateur entomologist. He has discovered over a dozen new insect species and has two species (a beetle Ischyrus goliai, and a plant hopper Toya goliai) named after him. Vince has also coauthored two papers pertaining to exotic Asian insects that he first discovered in Florida. Vince has been blessed with two exceptionally loving children. His son will begin his freshman year of college and his daughter is starting high school. He is currently working on his next book, a collection of his personal swinger stories.
