The adventures of Reynard, the great folkloric trickster, along with those of other animals are charmingly adapted by William Trowbridge Larned from Jean de La Fontaine's classic fables. Author Biography
John Rae (1882-1963) attended the Art Students League of New York and was a student of Howard Pyle. He wrote and illustrated many children's books, including The New Adventures of Alice, Grasshopper Green and the Meadow Mice, and Granny Goose.
