by S. D. Paine (Author)
For nearly a decade, Seraphina Valdis has plotted and planned, stalked and killed. After her mother and elder sister were murdered, her father and younger sister left Seraphina behind. Alone and confused, revenge became her entire world. On her quest, she has noticed strange things-from her ability to heal faster than humanly possible to memories of faces and places she's never seen before flooding her dreams.
With her tech-savvy bestie at her side, she'll do whatever it takes to demolish the cult that destroyed her family-starting with the four Obscuritas Princes. When things heat up between her and the Princes, will she have what it takes to destroy them once and for all?
Plans are starting to fall into place for Andras Blackbyrn and his fellow Princes. Outfoxing their fathers, The Obscuritas Kings, will take every ounce of their concentration. So when a stunning woman walks into their lives, Andras is beyond suspicious. But the closer Sara gets to him and his brothers, the harder she becomes to resist. If she was sent to destroy them, will they have the strength to stop her?
The Obscuritas are hungry for power, but exactly what that means is still a mystery. As Seraphina digs deeper into the cult responsible for destroying her family, secrets are uncovered, alliances are tested, and no one is safe from the wrath of evil men.
Retaliation is the first book of a series. This story follows Seraphina on a path of not only revenge, but self-discovery. She has shut out the world, and forced any feelings for others into a dark place. When the four princes she is intent on taking down start to bring those feelings out of her, Seraphina's plans unravel and her motives become unclear. Both Seraphina and the Obscuritas Princes will need to trust each other to survive what's to come.
