by Pollyanna Porter (Author)
Laying low, expecting the worse - that just robs you of a life worth being in.
The Wade sisters are raised in poverty on a dead-end road in rural Vermont. Sadie is a target at school but finds solace in her new job at a local restaurant where she makes friends with the eclectic cast of characters working there. Kate is angry and brash. After tragedy strikes, Kate, along with a determined detective, sets out on an odyssey of self-discovery and grief. The answers she discovers have the power to heal the broken pieces of her past. Relinquished is a poignant story of love and loss, faith and miracle and begs the question: What do you believe?
