Red doesn't mean to get upset, but it's not easy to stay calm when things make him uncomfortable. The tag on his clothes scratches his skin, his seatbelt makes him feel stuck and the vacuum makes a terrible noise. When Red gets overwhelmed, he wants to yell. Can you help Red make a better choice?
Told in rhyming verse, the story follows a boy who is sometimes overwhelmed by daily stimuli and routine transitions. Follow along as he practices taking deep breaths and looks for solutions to everyday challenges. This compassionate story highlights, for readers of all ages, the ways in which little things can be big problems, and how we might work through them.
