by Lucy Emblem (Author)
Tamsin Kernick is looking forward to a delightful riverside dog walk after class. But what happens next will shock her into action!
For she arrives to find her elderly friend being led away by the police, accused of a murder that will shake the picturesque village of Bishop's Green in the Heart of England to its core - a lifeless body in the rushes, with an arrow piercing its back.
Desperate to clear her friend's name, dog trainer Tamsin leaps into action with her intrepid dogs. She soon finds that the village's archery obsession is woven into this curious intrigue.
The village is sadly divided, buzzing with tension over plans to demolish a row of ancient cottages to make way for a new development. Tamsin finds herself in the midst of the turmoil of villagers and eco-warriors as she digs into rivalries and uncovers long-buried secrets.
Can Tamsin, her quirky friends and her dog detectives hit the bull's-eye of the mystery and catch the culprit?
Ready, Aim, Woof! is the delightful second book in the Tamsin Kernick English Cozy Mystery series. If you love lighthearted mysteries, clever canines, warm friendships, and a quiver full of country folk, you'll love Lucy Emblem's charming story.
