Melanie Upton has everything an aspiring actress needs. Sass, smarts, skills, and sultry good looks. Everything except her big break.
Lenny Gruse thinks he has everything a celebrity photographer needs. Persistence, a smooth spiel, and the willingness to do whatever it takes to create the perfect shot. Everything except his big break.
Until he meets Melanie, and shows her the path to stardom.
There's one catch. Someone has to die first.
Detective Robert Winter has a knack for solving seemingly random crimes by connecting dots no one else can see, yet even he is tested in a world where the players will stop at nothing to succeed and have the ability to con even the most seasoned cop.
