Although a clumsy swimmer, this fish can inflate to many times its normal size to scare away predators. In Japan, they are called "fugu" and are a dangerous delicacy. Specially trained & licensed chefs prepare this tasty treat, as one wrong cut can prove fatal; the fish contains enough toxin to kill 30 humans - and there's no known antidote! But not to worry - our blown-glass Pufferfish ornament is a safe & cheery reminder of coastal adventures.
