John Hare is a freelance illustrator and graphic designer as well as the creator of Field Trip to the Moon (an ALA Notable Children's Book and a LITA Golden Duck Picture Book), Field Trip to the Ocean Deep (a LITA Golden Duck Picture Book), and Field Trip to Volcano Island (a School Library Journal Best Book of the Year).
