by Charlie Hairston (Author)
"The author has a book that causes a reader to feel hope, compassion, sorrow, and above all, causes the reader to cheer for Cathleen. One of the most amazing things that stands out is that she had her own struggles and was an overcomer, no doubt. Yet in the middle of all of this - what this author wrote - is a true testament to someone living out their faith in their purpose and life - loved this!" - Review
Play Your Own Cards is an inspirational biography about Cathleen Swenson, a teenage girl whose body becomes paralyzed - but not her dreams! She becomes a scuba diver, a leading businesswoman, and an overcoming of many obstacles - all as a paraplegic and cancer survivor. This positive riveting story is something we all need to hear more of in this age of pessimism...how to really become ourselves!
