From fuzzy spiders to toy machine guns, Pascali's playfulness is on full display in this expansive two-volume survey of his short career
Arte Povera artist Pino Pascali (1935-68) created "fake sculptures" that played with perceptions of reality. This two-volume exhibition catalog-cum-reader juxtaposes 49 of his works with nine pieces by other postwar artists, and includes both an exhibition chronology and an anthology of texts on the artist.
