by Karen Wehrle (Author)
Percy's First Flight is a book for children of any age, but especially for preschool and elementary students. It reinforces the following positive moral concepts, which are meant to help guide children throughout their entire lives:
Perseverance Personal best
Encouragement Experience
Attentiveness Leadership
Practice Follow through
Percy's First Flight also refers to:
Absence Misplaced pride
Bossiness Shame
Boasting Consequences
Percy Gander is a young goose who practices the above positive concepts and is, therefore, able to save his flock when they are at risk.
Teachers and parents may find Percy's First Flight to be a useful tool when teaching positive behavioral concepts to their children.
An illustration of Mrs. Wehrle's frog is somewhere in Percy's First Flight. Can you find him?
